This is what it looked like when we started.
The old house faced the street from behind overgrown shrubbery. On the West wall, the bare bones of an uncompleted structure could be seen at the rear. On the East, the driveway ended in the blank windowless wall of the addition. From the rear, the addition looked even more unpromising. The large back yard was completely overgrown.
