Timeline

Work on the house began almost as soon as we moved in. The interior of the main house was quite livable for the most part, so work there consisted mostly of paint and wallpaper at first. There was some major structural work early on, like adding a staircase, then we spent time going around the exterior, and later did some interior rehab before finally tackling the major piece: the Outback. 2010

First up was a Laundry Room. We reclaimed a portion of the second floor and turned it into a useful area.

2011

2012

Work on the Side Porch Area began in 2012 and ran through 2013

Exterior Renovation began and went on for several seasons

Interior Renovation began as soon as we moved in, but the real work started in 2012

We decided to landscape the back yard (see Yards & Gardens)

2013

The North wall of the Outback got windows (see Side Porch Area, page 2)

Work on the East and North Walls began and continued for some time

2014

We tackled the initial West wall repairs

Work on the Vestibule began

2015

Judy re-did the “Green Room”

the North Wall work finished

In November, Judy worked on the Hallway and Stairs

2016

From June to November, we worked on the West Wall

2017

In February, Judy tackled the Bedroom Rehab

In July, work began on the The Deck

In the summer of 2017 (we think) Judy worked on the South Gable

In October, Judy started the Downstairs Bath Rehab

2018

In May, it was time to Remake the South Wall. That took several months,

2019

In January & February, I put in the Outback Attic floor

I put in a Workshop Heater

We returned to the West Wall for two seasons

2020

2020 was the Year of COVID. We got a lot done.

In May, we finished the Outback West Wall Siding

In June, we moved on to the OutBack East Wall

In August, we returned to the Old West Wall

2021

the Outback Electrical Wiring was installed
